Tom Ang es fotógrafo galardonado y autor de best-sellers, además de presentador del programa de televisión de la BBC "A Digital Picture of Britain". Fue profesor de Práctica fotográfica en la Universidad de Westminster durante doce años y ha trabajado como editor técnico y de imágenes para numerosas revistas especializadas. Sus fotografías se exhiben en todo el mundo y ha colaborado con revistas como 'What Digital Camera', 'MacUser' y 'Creative Arts'. Ha ganado el Premio a las Guías de Viajes de Thomas Cook por su reportaje fotográfico sobre la expedición de Marco Polo, en el que siguió sus pasos desde Europa hasta China, a través de Asia Central.
