Scientific researchers have underlined that the sea ice in the Arctic has prompted alarming warnings since the beginning of summer. The rapid summer melt has indeed decreased the area of frozen sea to less than 3.5 million square kilometres in September 2012. Subsequenlty, scientific experts have forecasted that the Arctic ocean could be ice-free in summer months within 20 years. Further reports have demonstrated the limited existence of ice and thinner ice which have changed the shape and form of Arctic along with its sea level. In fact, many scientific researchers have advanced that the melting of ice cap was mainly due to the global warming triggered by man-made greenhouse gas emission..
