On the net, Tae-Toyon stumbles into 'The Motel Don't Tell' chat-room for the first time and meets Lyrical-Aquilla. They become friends and a bond is created. Then one night at a nightclub, Toyon meets Denise and gets to know her also. A problem then arises that affects them all. First hearing him in a chat-room, and then on the request line of her radio show, Denise faces Jonathon Davis, a former college quarterback from a rival school who raped her on their first and only date. Years later he insists on meeting her when he calls her job at a New York City radio station, then turns up dead. His death has chat-rooms talking because possible suspects frequent those rooms and rumors run rampart. When police suspect Denise, she calls Toyon and he finds out Denise and Lyrical are the same. 'What A Web We Weave' is the journey of one woman to confront a man from her past, while meeting the man of her future, and finding true love via a chat-room.
