Marala carried that word with her until it became embedded in her core. When she was feeling alone and needed encouragement, she would write down snippets of advice and inspiration-reminders to herself to pay attention to the good that graced her day, to recognize the value of others, and to seek out new ways to express gratitude. It unveiled a life of happiness. With Gratitude is a book of inspirational poetry and prose that encourages readers to practice gratitude in our own lives; to take a break, a moment to reflect on the gifts and experiences (big or small) that we have to be grateful for.
