English summary: The year 2012 marked the 750th anniversary of the founding of the Augustinian Monastery in Tubingen, which has housed the Herzogliches Stift - known today as the Evangelisches Stift, or Protestant School of Theology - since 1547. A specialist conference examined the history of this important academic institution and produced new research contributions, which are now collected in this volume. Essays on the history of the school stand alongside those on holders of the scholarship. The significance for the histories of philosophy, theology and literature are likewise illuminated. The transfer of the institution to the church after 1918, the time of National Socialism, and the introduction of the Stift's still valid system of regulation provide insight into the huge changes it has faced during the twentieth century. German description: 2012 jahrte sich zum 750. Mal die Grundung des Augustinerklosters in Tubingen, in dem ab 1547 das Herzogliche Stipendium, heute bekannt als Evangelisches Stift, untergebracht ist. Eine Fachtagung hat die Geschichte dieser wichtigen Bildungsinstitution untersucht und neue Forschungsbeitrage hervorgebracht. Beitrage zur Geschichte der Institution stehen neben solchen zu den Stipendiaten. Beleuchtet werden auch die Bedeutung fur die Philosophiegeschichte, die Theologie und die Literaturgeschichte. Die Ubertragung des Stipendiums an die Kirche nach 1918, die Zeit des Nationalsozialismus und die Einfuhrung der heute noch geltenden Stiftsordnung geben Einblick in die massiven Veranderungen der Institution im 20.
