This is a collection of short stories about the travels of Emmet Waters, the younger brother of Gannon, as a series of continuous events. Emmet is an American businessman that travels extensively in Europe to train executives in global companies. As an American, he has all the excitement and naiveté that is bred into us. With the amount of traveling between continents, he takes on the title of the Mid-Atlantic man; living neither in America nor Europe. He also has the ability to learn about the complexities of the world and the ability and will to understand that creating and maintaining relationships is the most important objective in this life. All the characters in the stories do not exist except in Emmet's mind and the author's. The places are real, the events are fictitious and the names of people are close to being real, but not quite.
