They decide to visit the primitive planet of Penure Olcam to see what the wild belt-world offers up close. The discovery that the sentry satellites are no longer transmitting warning messages and another vessel is detected. This causes Quinn anxiety and worry. The vessel is conducting illegal mining operations on Penure Olcam. On approach, the Arrow is viciously attacked without warning. Eventually, warships of the ruthless Zabitaan race arrive to wipe out the Olcamid aliens. The first wave of a war begins.
