Reseña del libro "Big Ben Jones"

A gripping true story of escape, courage, and the fight for freedom on the Underground Railroad. In 1833, Benjamin “Big Ben” Jones and his friend Moses Hopkins took a risk that would change their lives forever. Enslaved on a Maryland tobacco plantation, they made the daring decision to escape and flee north to Buckingham Mountain in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. There, a community of escaped enslaved people and free Blacks lived under the protection of the Quakers. But to get there, Ben and Moses had to embark on a dangerous journey, relying on and trusting a secret network of brave strangers willing to put themselves at risk to help them. Based on true events, this historical nonfiction book brings to life an inspiring tale of perseverance and compassion.
