Reseña del libro "Blood Crazy: Aten Unbound: Nick and friends commence a new set of post-apocalyptic adventures (Blood Crazy Series) (en Inglés)"

‘Blood Crazy by Simon Clark remains, in my opinion, one of the best horror novels of the 2000s,’ — Brian Keene, bestselling author of The Rising FOUR YEARS AGO, EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF NINETEEN BEGAN KILLNG – ESPECIALLY THEIR OWN CHILDREN. NOW A CHANGE IS COMING… Nick Aten and his crew set out for New Blood City, which is run by the rational-minded Creosote-Plus Types, and has electricity, hospitals and all the attributes of civilisation…so they’ve been told. Familiar characters from the first three novels reappear – Sarah, Jack, Tamsin and Piper the dog; Martin Del-Coffey and Herman…and, of course, the ominous, intimidating Tug Slatter, whose brutal presence will be keenly felt as their convoy travels through the dangerous Badlands of a post-apocalyptic world. The team hope to form a new alliance and secure the future of their community at Kirk Sutton, with fresh supplies of food and other provisions. But the journey proves fraught with unexpected encounters and hair-raising confrontations. Often, the line between friend and foe is blurred, and the traditional enemy of old-style, batshit-crazy Creosotes is far from vanquished. The fight for survival is not over…and something else is coming. Something huge. Because at the end of Nick’s journey, he will find the answer to a question that has haunted humanity since the dawn of time. ‘THIS IS WHAT I SAID. AND NOTHING IN THIS WORLD WILL EVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.’ ‘As well as being an effective horror series then, Blood Crazy is a highly creative and thought-provoking look at a post-apocalyptic situation that is akin to a viral disaster.’ – Noel Megahey, To The Last Page
