For years the activity surrounding the bog served as the source of local legends and conspiracies, but to the Lindberg area residents they were more than that. They were a way of life. Now, thanks to an emerging genre of music, the rest of the world might just find the bog on their radar as well. Either way, things are about to change. When a new body surfaces, Abe Thompson finds himself surrounded by the latest wave of terror and distrust. At the center, “The Unholy Alliance” of Binder Therapeutics, Rowland University and Lindberg Community College. As the ripple effect from the most recent bog related death moves throughout the community, it finds its way into the arts, namely the local music scene. A scene that’s as familiar to Abe as the shady activity pervading the bog. Decades earlier, Abe’s uncle was the first body found there. But growing up, his family seldom talked about it, a practice Abe still carries with him. Unable to escape what's unfolding around him, Abe attempts to insulate himself from it by diving into his music, a task that ends up proving futile, especially once the body count continues to rise.
