Born to the Blood. Scythebearer Series (en Inglés) - Ariel F. Williams;Gabriela "Gateeko"

Nixie has spent the better half of her 27 years stumbling between extremely vivid nightmares, ominously accurate coincidences, and more than a few oddly unsettling forebodings. But when one of her darker dreams comes to life before her eyes, Nixie’s entire reality shifts into chaos.

Nixie is now expected to follow in her mother’s footsteps to become something she didn’t even know existed a week ago: an Original Blood Reaper. The thing is, her mother has been missing for almost 10 years, abandoning her Blood Right position, and her daughter, without a trace. This means Nixie has no guidance, no training, and no idea how to become a caretaker of the souls that carry on between realms.

So who will teach the inexperienced (and occasionally immature) Reaper?

Enter the supernatural masters of conflict and mayhem. Who better to help than a few brooding demons and egregorous Mystical beings? (Connor would also like to include the words ’muscular’ and ’handsome’ in that previous description as well *eye roll*)

Too bad Nixie’s better at drinking martinis, than fighting the disparity and evil that threatens every realm... Or is she?
