BUBBLE (en Inglés) - Courtney Bond

When sent on a mission to rescue a lost crew, fifteen soldiers stumble upon an inescapable vortex that drops them into a strange undersea land. Lives are lost as they trek through unknown worlds and battle alien enemies-all while a murderous sea monster lingers in the ocean sky above. From Harper’s point of view, we watch as she loses allies, clashes with authority, and wonders if she’ll make it out alive.

Back home, resilience and relationships are tested while the families of the missing soldiers deal with grief and the planning of their own rescue mission. While Elena-Harper’s closest friend and spouse of a lost soldier-finds purpose, Mia, Harper’s wife, spirals. With nobody around to keep her grounded, she seeks comfort in her old vices.

Trapped in a distant meadow, The Mom in the Bubble faces her own inner monologue when her husband doesn’t return. She must keep her demons contained and learn to trust the earthly humans in order to survive. Her death-filled story uncovers the mysteries of this mystical world, and the change that was forced upon her people.

Told through intersecting perspectives, Bubble centers Harper’s story, challenging the status quo as a novel about survival, loyalty, betrayal, and unlocking your purpose in the darkest times.
