Reseña del libro "Cold Road Exodus (en Inglés)"
The Family Spear. The third book chronicling the story of the family of Spears. This third installment takes us to Luther James Spear fresh out of his 2nd prison term, this time for illegal manufacturing of alcohol and his bitter plight to find himself, to fight the demons, and to find his son, and the son of his dead brother, Knox, and piece back together a sense of family and tradition. He'd spent that last ten years of his life trying to be a better person, a person he was not, now, as he sees it, it's time to just be what we are. Spear. We find ourselves to the hellish daughter Salem Spear, alone and isolated from the world just the way she likes it. Whilst living off the land she finds something inherently insane living within herself. A riversnake. This book comes as close to The Harvest Black as JW Lollar has gotten in the years since. "Simply a throat stomping masterpiece" JW Lollar delivers the best book in the series of Spear books yet finding a way to dig through the deplorable depravity in man and find us the good within. We take a harrowing look at new characters, two girls living in the cusp of utter despair with a monster for a mother who will do anything and everything to get her 'medicine'. There is also a moonshine police, Agent Chesney Walker and his ride to the top with a vow to get and rid the earth of the Spear once and for all. Laredo Spear's son, Bishop, quickly fills the shoes of the legends of the past in Cody and Knox Spear. We find ourselves the fallen king of Komar Moss living himself in the Mooring Warner Housing Projects far from the ritz and glory of the street legend his name rings out. JW Lollar delivers a psychotically depraved whirlwind of characters with the haunted brutal force of a head-on collision as he smashes you through the windshield and into hell.
