Reseña del libro "Collecting Shells (en Inglés)"

Everyone's heard the saying, "The world doesn't revolve around you," and while it's true in a sense, it can also make us feel unimportant, or like a burden. Poetry changes our relationship between the world and ourselves, recentering us and reminding us that every moment can be beautiful. Eating cereal really early in the morning is a poetic thing. Crying in your car on the way to work is a poetic thing. Poetry makes the world bearable. This free verse poetry collection is a simple walk on the beach, picking up shells every now and then, each one carrying its own memory and dream. Each poem explores the beauty and sadness of the world, and the small moments that bind us together. If you are lost in some way, whether you're navigating childhood trauma or trying to figure out what you want to do with your life, poetry can show you a way forward. Pick up these poems and take them all home, or leave them on their sandy beds once you've explored them. There's no right way to read a book of poetry... Just enjoy the cascading emotions that roll onto shore.
