Can people living today do likewise?Jesus didn't come to teach us how to die. We already knew how to do that! The apostle Paul described God's message to man as a Word of Life. Paul encouraged people to "seek immortality," and said that our mortal bodies could put on immortality. Why do so many churches have cemeteries next to them? If Jesus built a church building today, would he acquire land next to it for a cemetery?God doesn't want to only save your soul, He also wants to save your body! If God has promised that His children "have" everlasting life, why would we expect to die first in order to experience it?!People who don't know the bible are also able to benefit from the Message of Life. One does not need to be a bible scholar to benefit from the Word of Life!
