Finding Maggie Malone (en Inglés) - J L Downey

When Gunny Malone hears that her granddaughter is missing, she sails from Ireland to find Maggie before the teen is lost forever in the chaos of war. With only a few clues to guide her, she heads to San Francisco. But the only ship that can get her there is owned by Matthew McCrohan, a man who left her heartbroken at the altar in pre-famine Ireland.

In this sweeping Civil War-era adventure, two women's lives are interwoven as one travels along the treacherous Oregon Trail and the other sails around the tip of South America's Cape Horn in a race against time to reunite their broken family.
