Reseña del libro "Fish Out of Water: A True Story of a Surgical Technologist, Panya Washington (en Inglés)"
I bring to you an awakening for millions of people everywhere, from young to old, from newborns to those not yet born. What is that awakening? It's called latex. This is an issue that so many thousands of people may have heard of, and maybe not. Medical professionals all over the world have been affected by this allergy for years. So have many other men, women, and children. And yet, so many people really don't know what it is.I bring light to the problem through my own experience and shortcomings. I bring light to manufacturers all over the world so they can find another solution instead of rubber (latex), which is being used in thousands of products. These are products that we purchase every single day, and yet we don't know what it is that we are purchasing. As you read ingredients on foods and snacks that you purchase, I will teach you how to read ingredients on physical items that are being purchased every day for our everyday usage. Latex can be a silent killer to many of us. Latex does not have to be the end result of a product. Latex can be replaced by synthetic materials that are man-made.I write this book to be a handy guide to every household all over the world. Why? Because it's something that we need to be informed about when it comes to the products that we are purchasing. It gives us a choice to either purchase the product or not, knowing that it was made with rubber, latex.Manufacturers do not realize how life-threatening latex can be to an allergic person. Read more
