Reseña del libro "Out of the Past: A Bree Diamond Mystery (en Inglés)"

Dick Schneider lives a quiet life, albeit, a rather dull one. He's a mystery writer that pens stories featuring a woman private eye set in the 1940's named Bree Diamond. She's smart, tough, beautiful and able to handle anything he throws at her. When he gets a mysterious phone call at two in the morning, his life come crashing down. The caller doesn't appear to be joking; telling him that he's their favorite author and to prove it to him, they are going to kill a woman just like he did in chapter one of his last book. They even taunt him that it's too bad he doesn't have his precious Bree Diamond to put on the case. The person dares him to call to the police and see if they can stop them.Dick's first thought is that it's a crank call but what if it's not?Stumbling naked into the kitchen to make coffee as he thinks about his options, Dick turns around and Bree Diamond is sitting there holding a gun on him. How is that even possible?Dick doesn't believe what he's seeing. Bree doesn't believe that he's really the man that created her.Upon hearing about the earlier call, Bree agrees that they have to do something. Now she's here to help him. If she doesn't get him killed in the process.
