Anita Ganeri, nacida en Calcuta en 1961, es una autora india especializada en literatura infantil y divulgación científica. Tras mudarse a Inglaterra en su infancia, ha escrito más de 150 libros centrados en la geografía, la naturaleza y el mundo natural.
