Ultrasound pulses are coming from somewhere. Although they’re presumed to be from outer space, no one really knows why or how they’re being generated. Looting, violence, and loss of sanity take over. Troy goes on a mission to find his girlfriend and make sure she’s okay when he meets Clara along the way. He saves her life and offers to escort her back to her own home. She agrees, and he’s happy to have a companion in the new silent and dangerous world, if only for a while. However, questions remain. Is Earth under alien attack? Will the pulses stop or become worse? No one knows, and Troy decides they have no choice but to get accustomed to this new normal. To a new world devoid of electricity, communication…and sound. Despite what’s happened, sometimes tragedy also brings a new hope and promise for a future that otherwise would never have existed.
