Reseña del libro "Sara and Aavasaksa (en Inglés)"

In Sara and Aavasaksa: The Midnight Sun, nine-year-old Saara introduces her new friend Elias to the wonders of northern Finland, where the summer sun stays above the horizon all night.Elias is determined to witness the exact moment when the midnight sun stops descending and begins to rise again. Together, the children set out for a nearby viewpoint, accompanied by Sara's lively red squirrel, Sasu. Along the way, they discover wild berries, explore the forest, and learn about the unique nature of the Arctic Circle. But when they find a young reindeer trapped between the rocks, they must make an important choice: continue toward the viewpoint or stop and help an animal in need. This beautifully illustrated story combines adventure, friendship, nature, and gentle educational themes. It encourages young readers to value compassion, responsibility, courage, and the idea that doing the right thing is more important than arriving first. The Midnight Sun is part of the Sara and Aavasaksa series, a collection of heartwarming adventures inspired by the landscapes, wildlife, traditions, and natural wonders of northern Finland.
