Brother's push-ups were better. Brother's haircut was better. Brother's bed was better. But when it's time for a proper salute, a crowded bus, and a lot of waiting, Squid finds out what a good soldier really does: he helps his brother.Squid Goes to Boot Camp is a sweet, funny picture book for any child with a parent, sibling, or loved one heading off to serve. It's gentle and reassuring, and it helps little ones make sense of goodbyes, missing someone, and the happy hug at the end.Join Squid as he discovers that being a good soldier takes courage, determination, and a little help from someone you love. After all, Brother's was better.
