Tator (en Inglés) - Deidre Whipple Lopez

Tator is back-and this little Shih Tzu is ready for a brand-new adventure!

When Reese takes Tator to Dog Club, he can't wait to try the obstacle course, play games, and make new friends. But not everyone is kind. A boy named Mason and his dog, Brutus, begin picking on Tator because he is small and has only one eye.

At first, Tator tries to ignore them. Then he tries even harder to prove that he can do everything the other dogs can do. But when the teasing starts taking away the fun, Tator and Reese learn an important lesson: you don't have to prove yourself to someone who chooses to be unkind.

With help from Reese, his friends, and the people at Dog Club, Tator discovers that speaking up isn't tattling, asking for help is a sign of strength, and nobody deserves to be bullied for being different.

And when Tator gets the chance to show what kind of dog he really is, everyone-including Mason and Brutus-may learn that being the biggest or strongest doesn't make you better.

Tator Belongs at the Dog Club is a heartwarming illustrated chapter book about bullying, kindness, friendship, confidence, inclusion, and standing up for yourself and others.

Perfect for children ages 7-10 who love dogs, adventures, and stories with meaningful lessons.

Because everyone deserves a place where they belong.
