Reseña del libro "The Continuing Adventures of ANGUS BRUIN. The Loch (en Inglés)"
Book 6 of Series Two of The Adventures of ANGUS BRUIN - "The Loch"
Book Five subtitled, "The Standing Stones", described how Angus followed his inbuilt curiosity and sense of adventure, heading out in search of a mystery.
Gran' Pa-Paw had told Angus about magical Standing Stones, in the ancient pine forest near the Loch; on the day they went Fishin' at the waterfall, in Book Four "Gone Fishin'!"
Angus first explored the Standing Stones in the graveyard at the Kirk (the Church), then followed the Burn to the ancient circle of Standing Stones by the Loch, as described by Gran' Pa-Paw.
Tired, and falling asleep there, Angus was woken the following morning by a group of Tall -People and their three dogs. It was Golden Mane and her 'herd' of Tall-People and Tall-Fawns.
This sees the 'Covenant of the Paws' as both human and animal lives are intertwined in a sense of understanding and love for each other.
Later, the weather turns; a squall races down the Loch towards the Tall-People sailing on their yacht.
Disaster occurs, the yacht is damaged and stuck on jagged rocks in the Loch.
A dramatic rescue ensues as dogs and bears join forces to rescue the Tall People and their stricken craft.
A story of drama, and humour.
