The Register Report of Robert Ryves is a standard genealogical report of Robert Ryves (b. 1490) of Dorset England, the first known ancestor in this genealogy. The report focuses on the direct line ancestors and descendants of Edmond Reaves (1775-1855) of North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. Although Edmond Reaves settled in modern day Calhoun County, Alabama, he is considered by some to be the founding father of most Reaves and Reeves families in Alabama today. The book provides the most details of Edmond's great grandson William Clemens Reeves of Etowah County, Alabama and his descendants. The Registry Report also contains an extensive list of sources for the genealogical information that it contains.
