Reseña del libro "The Last Generation That Will Work (en Inglés)"

We may be the last generation to work the way our parents did. Artificial intelligence is not primarily a jobs problem: it is a problem of civilization. For centuries we organized life around work and scarcity. When the machine breaks that bond, the challenge is no longer how to produce wealth. It becomes something harder: how to manage the abundance, the freedom, and the time that technology gives back to us. Written in the first person by someone who watched his country sink under badly managed abundance, this book brings together economics, family, politics, education, and purpose to hold one question steady: what becomes of human beings when they no longer need to work to survive? It walks through the futures we must avoid (the anesthetized society, the surveilled society, technological neofeudalism, the civilization that forgot how to survive) and what each one teaches us to get right. Then it proposes a way out: Full Capitalism. A model with a floor of dignity for everyone and merit without cruelty, in which the decisive capital becomes what each person knows, creates, cares for, and contributes, and in which artificial intelligence is an exoskeleton that lifts people up, not a master that replaces them. Machines will be able to do the work. What kind of humanity we become is up to us.
