A charming story about how a grandpa shares his love for old cars with his grandson--who just happens to share the same name as one of his cars! At first young Maxwell is not fond that the car is also named Maxwell. After all, that's his name. Reluctantly, the two go for a ride in the car, stop at a park and show the car off to the kids there. At the end of the book, Maxwell counts his blessings; he got to play at the park, he made new friends, and, he gets to share his name with a really cool, old automobile! The back matter has a short history of the automobile.
