Cassandra Clare, nacida en 1973 en Teherán, Irán, y criada en Estados Unidos, es una autora mundialmente conocida por sus sagas de fantasía urbana dirigidas a jóvenes adultos. Su obra más célebre es la saga Cazadores de Sombras, que comenzó con el libro Ciudad de hueso en 2007 y se convirtió en un fenómeno global. Entre sus títulos más destacados se encuentran Ciudad de ceniza (2008), Ciudad de cristal (2009), y las trilogías precuela Cazadores de Sombras: Los Orígenes y secuela Cazadores de Sombras: Renacimiento. Estoy juntando esta edición en inglés, pero como es la más antigua es difícil encontrar y hay que buscar en varias librerías en todo Lima. Me sentí entusiasmada al ver que este tomo estaba disponible. Llegó rápido y en muy buen estado. Adoro la caratula, su textura y colores.
