Reseña del libro "Theomagica Temple of Wisdom: A Lost Rosicrucian Classic by John Heydon (en Inglés)"
Theomagica Temple of Wisdom: A Lost Rosicrucian Classic by John Heydon Edited and rendered into modern English by Nick Farrell Hidden for centuries, long out of print, and nearly forgotten, Theomagica: Temple of Wisdom is one of the most elusive works of early Rosicrucian philosophy. Written by John Heydon, astrologer, magician, and the last known Rosicrucian of the English Restoration, this 17th-century text bridges Hermetic mysticism, alchemy, and practical magic with a distinctly English flair. S. L. MacGregor Mathers encountered the book in the British Library and quietly absorbed its teachings into the DNA of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Though the text vanished from public view, its influence endured. Now, for the first time in over 350 years, Theomagica returns. This modern edition, carefully edited and translated into accessible English by Nick Farrell, preserves the original intent while making Heydon's esoteric system usable for the 21st-century reader. Inside, you will find: - A rare synthesis of Rosicrucian cosmology, Christian theurgy, and Neoplatonic mysticism - Heydon's unique take on angelic hierarchies and divine spirits - Practical guides to celestial magic, talismans, and planetary influence - One of the earliest English sources to integrate geomancy into spiritual practice - A foundation text that subtly shaped Golden Dawn magical philosophy Whether you are a practitioner of ceremonial magic, a scholar of Western esotericism, or a student of geomantic and Rosicrucian traditions, Theomagica offers a glimpse into a vanished magical worldview that still speaks with surprising power. A forgotten cornerstone of Western magic. Restored, refined, and ready to speak again.
