What Came Home (en Inglés) - Domonique Shackelford

The Carter family thought they were stepping into the life they had always prayed for. After years of hard work, Simone and Darius Carter finally purchased a beautiful family home big enough for their children, their dreams, and the future they planned to build together. To celebrate the new beginning, they take a family vacation far away, hoping to create memories before settling into their new life.

But on their final night away, Darius convinces Simone to explore a dark cave hidden near their vacation rental. Simone feels something wrong before they ever step inside, but she follows the man she loves into the darkness. Deep inside the cave, Darius gets lost. When he finally returns, he looks like her husband, sounds like her husband, and walks out beside her like nothing happened.

But Darius never truly came back.

When the family returns home, their dream house slowly becomes a nightmare. Strange noises echo through the walls. Doors open on their own. Their family dog refuses to go near Darius. The nanny disappears without warning. And their 7-year-old child becomes dangerously attached to a mysterious doll that seems to whisper when no one else is around.

As Simone begins to uncover the horrifying truth, she realizes something ancient followed them home from the cave. Something wearing her husband’s body. Something that does not want to die.

And by the time she understands its real plan, the evil has already found a new way to stay inside her family forever.
