You need to have an open mind and if you read it with the understanding what is best for your child regardless the situation then your child has a better chance of feeling loved and accepted by both parents and avoiding parental conflict will be the greatest gift you can give to your child. The goal is to be able to make improvements in your situation with the other parent and the importance on focusing on the child for the rest of your divorced life.
