Designed for newly minted attorneys, A People's Practice is a practical guide about the ins and outs of practicing law. The author, Gary Green, has practiced law in Arkansas for more than 30 years and has extensive experience in trying cases in court. As he says in the Introduction, "I love practicing law. I love everything about it. Interacting with people, helping them, helping fellow lawyers, providing for my family, doing something positive for my community.... I love it when I learn new things about the law, and I love it when I am able to share some things I have learned from others. That is why I am writing this paper chase compendium. The way I look at it, if I learn one new thing at a continuing legal education seminar, it was worth it. My hope is that you learn one new tidbit from reading this, and that you smile or scratch your head at the other stuff."
